Anti-Ragging Committee

The Anti-Ragging Committee at Ganpat University – V. M. Patel Institute of Management plays a vital role in ensuring a safe and respectful environment for students. Its primary responsibility is to prevent, address, and eliminate any form of ragging within the Institute.

The Anti-Ragging Committee have the following Functions & Responsibilities:

• The committee establishes strict anti-ragging policies in accordance with government regulations. It ensures that all students and faculty members are aware of these policies and enforces them effectively.
• To prevent ragging, the committee conducts awareness programs. These initiatives educate students about the consequences of ragging and promote a culture of mutual respect. Posters and notices are displayed across the Institute to reinforce anti-ragging messages.
• It collaborates with Anti-Ragging Squad Committee members to maintain vigilance and ensure a safe environment for all students.
• Periodic meetings are conducted to review anti-ragging measures and assess their effectiveness.

Anti-ragging committee meets at commencement of semester of each academic year and as and when required. Due care is exercised to ensure that quorum of the committee is duly maintained during each meeting. Further, regarding action taken report, there has been no complaint received regarding Ragging from the students during assessment period.

Anti-Ragging Squad Committee

The Anti-Ragging Squad Committee at Ganpat University – V. M. Patel Institute of Management plays a crucial role in preventing and addressing ragging incidents. It works alongside the Anti-Ragging Committee to ensure a safe and respectful environment for students.

The Anti-Ragging Squad Committee have the following Functions & Responsibilities:

• The squad actively patrols Institute areas, including classrooms, common spaces, and also hostels to detect and prevent ragging. It conducts surprise inspections in vulnerable locations to ensure compliance with anti-ragging policies.
