Dr. Vishal A. Acharya serves as Associate Professor of Finance at Ganpat University, where he has been a faculty member since 2007. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya, Gandhinagar, and has completed the prestigious Full-Time Residential Faculty Development Program in Pedagogy and Research Methods at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad in 2022. Additionally, he has qualified UGC-Net in Management (Finance Specialization).

Dr. Acharya's research interests encompass digital finance, online payment systems, investors' financial risk tolerance, financial gamification, and investment behaviour. His scholarly work has been published in numerous academic journals, including three publications indexed by Scopus and Web of Science. He has also authored cases published in reputable journals.

An accomplished researcher, Dr. Acharya received the First Prize for Best Research Paper at the National Conference on Emerging Issues in Accounting & Commerce organized by Ganpat University's Faculty of Social Science and Humanities. In recognition of his exceptional contributions, he was honoured with the President Award of Staff Excellence for Support Service and Engagement in 2020.

As an educator, Dr. Acharya specializes in teaching financial management, non-banking financial practices, international finance, and research methodology. His extensive experience and expertise have made him a valuable asset to the university.
