GUNI-FMS-VMPIM organized a lecture under
Distinguished Lecture Series on Impact of Budget 2021 on Higher Education and
Salaried Employees By Dr CA Ujal Mehta on 5th February. Due to COVID-19, the
event held virtually. Dr. CA. Ujal Mehta is practicing chartered accountant
with 20 years of professional experience and currently associated with Ganpat
University as consulting CFO. His quest
for learning has helped him earning number of academic qualifications including
PhD., CA, CS, ICWA, M. Com., LL. B., ISA (ICAI), FAFD to name a few. He has the
hobby of writing poetry on various topics which help him in maintaining work
life balance. He is an advisor to companies from more than 15 different sectors
of economy. The session was attended by more than 140 attendees having
students, professionals, alumni members, GUNI officials, executives, faculties
and staff members. Dr CA Ujal Mehta started with the broad outcome of
Budget-2021 on different sectors and then moved to discuss in detail about the
impact on higher education and salaried employees. At the end of the sessions,
attendees raised specific queries and were sorted out by the expert
effectively.
The event was graced by the presence
of Honorable Pro Chancellor and Director General Dr Mahendra Sharma, Pro Vice
Chancellor & Executive Registrar Dr Amit Patel, Dean-FMS Dr Sourbhi
Chaturvedi, Associate Dean and Principal, VMPIM Dr Hiren Patel, Chairperson,

members, trustees, principals of various institutions and attendees.
